Delphi's History
Delphi’s roots go back to the mid-1980s, when the company began as a provider of analysis, data processing, and information on publicly listed companies.
Over time, the business evolved from offering stock market data and single-stock advisory services to full-fledged equity and fund management. With the acquisition of the equity funds Trend International and Trend Norge in 1995 - now known as Delphi Nordic and Delphi Norge - Delphi Fondsforvaltning was established as a fund manager.
In 2000, Delphi Fondsforvaltning became part of the Storebrand Group. This gives us the strength of a solid, long-term owner and access to efficient systems for settlement and administration.
Today, we manage the following funds:
- Delphi Norge (established 1994)
- Delphi Nordic (1991)
- Delphi Kombinasjon (1997)
- Delphi Global (2006)
- Delphi Global Valutasikret (2017).
In 2018, we also launched a range of share classes within the various funds (see each fund’s prospectus for more details).
Since the beginning, our funds have been managed according to the same core principles - a clear investment philosophy focused on both price trends and fundamental factors. At the same time, we have continuously developed and refined our investment process to keep pace with an increasingly complex market and to take advantage of new data sources, analytical tools, and insights.
Our mission remains unchanged: to deliver long-term excess returns for our clients through active management.
